Announcing the New “Food for Health Pavilion” at Health & Innovation Asia 2024

Press Release:

Announcing the New “Food for Health Pavilion” at Health & Innovation Asia 2024

**Food for Health: Asia’s Gateway to Food for Health and Innovation**

26 July 2024, Bangkok, Thailand: VNU Asia Pacific proudly presents a special pavilion at Health & Innovation Asia 2024 under the name "Food for Health." This initiative, evolving from the former Healthy Food Asia, will focus on healthy, organic, vegan, plant-based, functional, and free-from foods, catering to the ASEAN and Asia Pacific regions. Co-located with Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL, Bio Asia Pacific, and FutureCHEM INTERNATIONAL 2024, this event offers a comprehensive platform encompassing food, health, technology, and scientific laboratories—all under one roof.

The food for health industry is pivotal in addressing modern health challenges, promoting sustainable practices, and meeting growing consumer demand for healthier options. This rapidly expanding market is projected to grow from USD 988.46 billion in 2024 to USD 1,405.69 billion by 2032, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.50%. In Asia, key drivers include rising health awareness, increasing disposable incomes, and the growing prevalence of chronic diseases.

In the pavilion, leading brands will showcase their latest innovations in health technology and food, including:

- Healthy Food Manufacturers

- Organic and Natural Food Brands

- Vegan and Plant-Based Food Producers

- Functional Food and Ingredient Suppliers

- Free From Food Providers

This event aims to attract a diverse audience, including food industry professionals, health enthusiasts, retailers and supermarkets, nutritionists and dietitians, policymakers, and government representatives.

Ms. Chanunrat Kongkerd, Project Manager at VNU Asia Pacific, stated that "Food for Health is a pioneering concept we are thrilled to launch this year. As experts in the Agri-Food business and trade fair organization, VNU Asia Pacific is uniquely positioned to bring new investors and buyers to connect with our brands, generating substantial business value during the show. This dedicated zone will represent the healthy food business and its synergy with health technology, providing everything our attendees need in one place. We are excited to showcase confirmed brands such as TOFUSAN, AGAPE FARM (Japanese), Fuji Kasei (Japanese), Huma Health, and TASTEBUD LAB, which will also be participating in the conference with us. We invite all trade visitors to join us and experience the future of health and nutrition, where innovation meets opportunity."

Knowledge Sharing Platform in Food for Health

The main stage in the pavilion will feature a knowledge-sharing platform where experts from private companies, educational institutions, and related associations will share their insights. One of the highlights will be the conference entitled "Advancing Animal Nutrition Research Using Simulated Gut Model: Insights from TinyTIM and TIM-2" by Dr. Atikorn Panya, Ph.D., Head of Food Biotechnology Research Team at FoodSERP. This conference will take place on Friday, 13 September 2024, from 14:30-14:55 hrs. at Health & Innovation Square, EH 104, BITEC, Bangkok.
